I feel like a million Baht after the 10am class today with Rich Nichols (Regional Bikram Yoga Teaching Manager). It’s the 2nd class of Rich’s I’ve taken in my 3 days in Bangkok and I’ve already had a breakthrough.
Rich phoned me last night to go over a few issues he guessed were giving me grief, obviously picked up by the pained expressions dancing across my face and the fact I didn’t do Toe Pose, instead performing a second set of Tree. It may come as a surprise to some but EVERYONE here does Toe Pose! So you can imagine I felt like a bit of an ape hanging out in Tree while the local yogis sunk to the floor around me.
After listening to my knee issues etc, he offered some advice and asked me to attend the morning session. Well what do you know, I got down into Toe Pose! Only the right side mind you but I’m sure the left side will follow shortly. Thanks Rich, namaste.
Well I’m off to sample some of the local neighborhood (Ari) street food, mmm yet another way to warm up the body!
Hay matt you just cant hang out in tree pose in every studio mate, great to hear your opening up, sending love always.xx
Hey I miss you guys! Thank you, both of you are so right. I thought I was doing the right thing by my knees but I know it’s time to move on. Trust two Bikram teachers to be on my case straight away.. I love it!

Breakthrough! through mind breakthrough in body all connected. Different teachers same dialogue what has changed? You have trust, courage, self belief Matt. So left side will be no worries just the same in time. Well Done x
