My name is Matt Jermyn and I live on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I am a Yoga Therapist & Yoga Teacher in the Tradition of Krisnamacharya and Bikram Yoga. I also volunteer for Yoga Australia on the National Management Committee for QLD.
I originally set up this blog in 2008 to document my 365 day challenge in 2009: 12 Months, 12 Countries, a 30 Day Bikram Yoga Challenge in each. During life, we continuously grow and this blog is a reflection of my experience and what I believe is important, interesting or just fun to share with others interested in yoga and living a rewarding life.

A little back story…
I’m was born on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. I spent my youth traveling and living throughout Queensland and overseas, including Laos and China. On completion of college, I joined the Royal Australian Navy as an Electronics Technician – Communications and IT Systems. This set me up for my next career as a Film Tech, specialising in Screen Graphics on various Australian and Hollywood films. My regular yoga practice began on 22 Aug 2006 after sustaining a back injury. Soon after I had the idea for my 365 Day Challenge, an idea so strong I was on the move again. The life of a gypsy, cursed with being a gemini and number 5!
