fold up, pack up, move on

zeroGosh, I just realised I haven’t blogged about my wheels! You’ve probably read on my website my intention to “go green” during this journey. I guess I’m trying my best in a number of ways, although all those air miles will have me planting trees in backyards around Australia for the next year.. hmm next challenge maybe.

Before I digress further, I’m trying to tell you about my fold up bike. I bought a Dahon Jetstream while in Budapest and have been using it, predominately as my sole source of transport since. Bike (12 kgs) + Suitcase (4 kgs) + The rest (4 kgs) = Aircraft baggage limit (20kgs). Lucky I’m a little tacker! It’s not quite a simple process of just folding up and packing. I have to strip it down to the frame before little Sabrina will fit in.
